EVERY GOOD STUD COMES TO HIS SENSES

The new one. My follow-up novella to Eden Succeeding. Ink is still drying on the final edit but it is ready to go out to prospective buyers. I’ve got some market research to do before I send it out, as always, but I hope it will find a home. I like it. It’s different. It’s challenging. It’s a dystopian coming-of-age story set in a future society where students are rewarded for their hard work and grades by getting to “lift” their artificially-shackled sensory perception. Shortly before his 15th annibirthary, a shy, sensory-deprived boy named Tig Fynch is approached by the older, mysterious school darling, Cheza Gregory. It’s your typical boy meets girl, boy is afraid of girl, girl-doesn’t-care-that-boy-is afraid-of-her-because-girl-always-gets-what-she-wants kind of story. Ok, so it’s not that typical. But I like it. More to come…

UPDATE: This is available to read, completely free(!) for a limited time at TQR Stories: Total Quality Reading (www.tqrstories.com). It is a fine publication that churns out a very high quality product each quarter or so and I’m proud to be accepted and paid by them. Go over there and check out my story if you can… and then see what else they have to offer!
